Our family recently acquired a Cocker Spaniel, around 2 years old, that our vet said is basically blind.? - cataracts puppy blind

He thinks it may have cataracts in both eyes that a lot worse than the other. We were referred to an ophthalmologist. We answered an ad that said his family was relocatiing not and could not stop, but when we arrived, he was a puppy mill. It has been used for breeding, and I think he has developed this eye problem and are now removed. In any case, my question is, does anyone have any tips for burglary almost blind dog? You can see some, I'm sure that fear of death of the children of my bkes or sudden movement. We have only had it for 3 days, so I'm sure he will fix it in time. Anyone else experience with a blind dog, and we should go to cataract surgery or just live with it blind? Suggestions?
